These are all sites that we have briefly explored, but we encourage you to work with or near your children any time they are on the internet. When using Moby, it is OK to provide your child with problems similar to those provided by the program, but PLEASE do not 'give' the answers to your children. The Moby program is designed to grow with your child, based on skills he or she masters.
Reading Games*Tumble Books We use this site for "Listen to Reading" during Daily Five. The user name is wdstu, and the password is books. From a mobile device, 'CHOOSE' mobile. It is possible that "English" will be in the choice box, but scroll down, and mobile should be an option. Next, in the same area (upper right corner), you can enter the username and password.
Reading A to Z Excellent resource available for FREE in March, April and May, 2020! Teacher usernames and password information came via an email document by March 17, 2020. LETTER AND SOUNDS PRACTICE: Links to primarily PBS sites that all focus on letter and sounds. BEGINNING SOUNDS PRACTICE: Multiple resources to work on beginning sounds. RHYMING PRACTICE: Multiple links for games and videos to work on rhyming. Phonics Practice: (blending onset and rime) beginning reading skills *Between the Lions: A PBS website focused on reading skills with fun activities as well as printable pages. *Alphabet Goop is a game to help children who are working on identifying beginning sounds of words. *Starfall is a site that some of the children have used at school for reading fun and practice. *Reading Skills Rocket offers reading skill activities that are directly related to the stories we read in the classroom. Seussville Read, play games, and hang out with Dr. Seuss and his friends. Storyline Online Have some of your favorite stories read to you by movie stars! Scholastic Learn at Home A site maintained by Scholastic Classroom Magazines offering cross-curricular activities for a variety of grade levels. Try it! |

The username and password information came home on either Monday or Tuesday, March 16th or 17th, 2020. GoNoodle A fun site with a variety of movement and music opportunities!
