As we work on today's posts, we see that it has been awhile since we last updated our blog! (Today is day 121 of kindergarten!) We have been busy with our routines, working on reading, writing and math, and so much more! Just for fun, we have been talking about homonyms and homophones as well as onomotopoeias (hopefully, your children can give you some examples). We have also had some guest readers including parents and third grade buddies! If you ever want to read a story to the class, you can email us or send a message on Remind, and we can set something up. The kids LOVE listening to stories! Spring break begins tomorrow, and we return to school on April 1. We hope you and your families have a lovely break, and look forward to seeing everyone again after the break! Enjoy some pictures we have collected over the past few weeks!

At our last Eagle Celebration, we were SO EXCITED to celebrate Ms. Gunderson when she was named as a recipient of the District 279 Foundation's Investment in Youth award! Not only does Ms. Gunderson work with us every day, she manages the school patrols at drop-off and parent pick-up as well! She helps our class run smoothly and the kids all know her as another valued teacher in our room. It was wonderful to see her being recognized for all she does for Woodland! |
