Today your child is bringing home a large piece of brown tag board with a turkey traced on it. HOPEFULLY the pink information sheet made it home as well, but we saw the wind carry a few of them away this afternoon! Here is what we have assigned for your FAMILY HOMEWORK (DUE NOVEMBER 11th): Family Project Dear Kindergarten Families, At this time of year, we often reflect on all for which we are thankful. Please help your kindergartner with this family turkey project. Think of what your family is thankful for and decorate your turkey to reflect this. In the past, families have used crayons, feathers, dried noodles, cereal, pictures, and many other things. Be creative! An adult should cut out the turkey that is traced with pencil. Then, please work with your kindergartner to decorate it. Write your child’s first name, last name, and teacher name on the back. When you have completed the turkey, send it to school in a garbage bag. Please send the completed turkey to school by Wednesday, November 11. The turkeys will be on display in the hallways at school for all to enjoy! Thank you, and have fun! |
