The school year may be coming to a close, but we have been VERY busy in kindergarten! This week, the kindergartners got a chance to meet with the first grade teachers, hear about what their days will be like next year in first grade, and even visit a first grade classroom! We have been working hard on our science unit, Animals 2x2, and spent time learning more about worms and pill bugs and their habitats. We are working on reading analog clocks (the kids all brought home their own homemade clocks on Monday), and the kids are doing a GREAT job telling time to the hour and half hour! We even visited the WET (Woodland Eagle Trail) Lab and spent some time examining the trail and getting a closer look at our pill bugs. Have a lovely long weekend!

We had an AMAZING trip to the Minnesota Zoo! The weather was perfect (OK, maybe a little hot), but everyone had a great time! Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped keep group numbers low and made the experience one we will never forget! Parents. if you didn't text or email pictures from the trip to us yet, please send them and we will add them when they arrive! |
