We had a beautiful, sunny afternoon for our visit to Kelly Farm today! The kids learned about how the Kelly family operated their farm over 150 years ago. We found out who did the different jobs on the farm and got a chance to help plow a field, plant potatoes, make crackers and visit farm animals. It was a blast, and we look forward to hearing about everyone's favorite part of the adventure! Many thanks to our parent volunteers-you were great!

Mrs. Cobb taught an internet safety lesson to our class today. She discussed four rules for internet safety, and passed out a pledge to each child where they can vow to follow the four rules of internet safety. The rules were presented in a fun video, of which we only saw the first 7-8 minutes. If you would like to view the video, or if your child asks to see the rest, you can always find the link in the "Parent Links" section of our website, or click HERE.
After months of preparation, our second graders put on 3 wonderful performances showcasing their musical talent. If you have pictures from the show that you'd like posted on our website, please send them to Mrs. Levy. Thank you! In science today, the kids were challenged to find a way to balance a pencil on a popsicle stick, with a wire and clothespin as counterweights. Jake was the first to complete the challenge, followed by a large number of his classmates. Way to go! |
